我的学习计划

很荣幸能被约克大学录取，在接下来的半年里，我的学习是这样安排的。

大致分为三个阶段。三四月份是首先阶段，五六月份是第二阶段，七八月份是第三阶段。

首先阶段安排如下：

1. 单词量亟待提高 计划每天背40个单词，周六日抽出半天时间巩固复习 正确率保证在90%以上.

2. 语法需要提高，我会多看一些范文和例句，并做笔记。

3. 浏览或阅读一些加拿大人文地理知识 以及出国留学需要注意的学术方面事项 并记录在本上。

4. 口语方面也很重要，在闲暇时间我会多看一些国外的新闻 或在网上收听VOA广播，练习发音。努力复述自己听到的内容反复三遍 想不起来的时候再听一遍

5. 多做一些听力练习，我觉得我现在缺点就是对英语不敏感 有时候听到一句话，能听懂 但是反应比较慢，这句话说完之后需要在脑子里先翻译一遍再作出回应。做点听练习的时候多听了就能培养出较快的反应速度。

第二阶段安排如下：

1. 有了首先阶段的积累，词汇量应该有所提高。计划的雅思考试在5月中旬，第二阶段的前两周先着重雅思方面，多做一些套题，并且检查出错误常出现在哪里。关注雅思的阅读及听力机经，《807词汇》至少过两遍。

2. 雅思考试结束后，着重看英文电影及外国名著小说。目前选好了一本外国名著《复活》全英文版。计划一周读一个章节，并翻译出汉语意思。每个章节读2遍，首先遍略读，不需要记笔记查单词等，只是简单了解一下这章节的意思，不懂的词和句子联系上下文猜测。第二遍精读，查阅生词并标注。本上记下我认为有用的词和句子。

3. 浏览一些感兴趣的国外网站，看看老外们是如何娱乐的。

4. 口语还是较重要的，环雅只要有口语沙龙，我就会去参加，多和外教对对话。

5. 到了6月，想在新动态英语学校找一个外教练习口语，一周两次课。

6. 每天用英语写日记，记录下每天所学的知识和发生的事。尽量不要查词典，不会写的词先用其它的词代替。注意语法，不能有语法错误。

第三阶段安排如下：

1. 大学的专业我选的是human resources management. 7月份我觉得有必要了解一些关于这方面的知识了。先买两本关于这方面的书，了解这个专业是什么学什么 怎么学。

2. 这个时候多大的学生已经去多伦多一个多月了，我会与他们保持联系，并希望他们能够为我提供一些学习资料，比如他们平时的作业是什么，考试的类型等。我看看能不能完成。

3. 给自己放10天假，与朋友出去旅游一趟。多拍些照片，回来写一篇游记(英文版)。并附上照片，如果老师有时间，希望老师可以阅读一下，看看我在英语的写作方面有什么欠缺，还需要改进什么。

4. 复习第二阶段的笔记本上的内容，(读名著记下的好词好句)，并有选择性的背诵其中的一些内容，尤其是场景方面的。把不熟悉的句子用笔标注出来，第二天再次复习。

5. 去国外的视频网站看一些短视频，了解外国人的生活习惯和说话方式。

6. 上网浏览一些国外的论文模版，大学四年里，论文是不可或缺的一部分，提前接触一下，看看论文的开头结尾一般是什么方式。

My Study Plans

I am much honored to be admitted to the University of York, in the following six months, I make my study arrangements like this: they are generally divided into three stages: the first stage is from March to April, the second stage is from May to June, and the third stage is from July to August.

The first stage is arranged as follows.

6. The amount of vocabulary needs to be enlarged, I plan to recite forty words every day, take half a day’s time to consolidate and review them, and make sure the accuracy stay above ninety percent.

7. The grammar needs improving; I will read more model essays and illustrative sentences and make notes.

8. I will look through or read some information about Canadian Human Geography and the academic matters which should be noticed in studying abroad, and write it down in the notebook.

9. The oral English is also a very important aspect, in my spare time; I will go through more foreign news or listen to VOA broadcast online to practice the pronunciation. I will repeat for three times and try to retell what I will have listened, and listen once more when I cannot remember it.

10. Do more listening practice, I find my current weakness lies that I am not sensitive to English, sometimes when hearing a sentence, I can understand what it means but react a little bit slowly, when the words are finished, I need to translate them first in my mind and then make response. Doing more listening practice can cultivate the faster response speed.

The second stage is arranged as follows.

3. On the basis of the first stage, the amount of vocabulary should be enlarged. I have planned to take IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam in the middle of May, in the first two weeks of the second stage; I would pay attention to IELTS, and do more practice tests and check out where the mistakes often come from. I would focus on the reading and listening experience of online testing, and finish reciting the 807 Vocabularies at least twice.

4. After the IELTS exam, I will pay much attention to English movies and foreign famous novels. At present, I have chosen a full English version of the foreign classic book Resurrection, and plan to read one chapter a week, and translate into Chinese meanings. Each chapter I will read twice, the first time, I will skim it, I don’t need to take notes or look up words in the dictionary, I just simply get to know what has been told in the chapter, when encountering unknown words and sentences, I will make a guess according to the context; while the second time, I will do intensive reading, and look up the new words and mark them, and I will write down the useful vocabularies and sentences in the notebook.

5. I would browse some foreign websites which I am interested in, and see foreigners how to entertain themselves.

6. The oral English is still the most important, as long as there is oral English salon in GEDU(Global Education), I would join in and do much talking with foreign teachers.

5. When in June, I want to find a foreign teacher (New Dynamic Institute) to practice oral English in NDI and I will take the class twice a week.

7. I will write dairy in English every day, and put down what I will have learned and what will have happened every day. Try not to consult the dictionary, instead I will choose to use other words to substitute those I don’t know how to write. At the same time, I should pay attention to the grammar and make sure no grammar mistakes exist in it.

The third stage is arranged as follows.

7. In university years, I choose human resources management as my major. In July, I think it is necessary to get to know some knowledge about this field. I will buy two relevant books first and realize what the major is, what to learn and how to learn.

8. At this time, most students have been to Toronto for more than a month; I will keep in touch with them and hope they will be able to provide me with some learning materials, such as what is their daily homework, what is the type of test, etc. I will see whether I can finish it or not.

9. I will give myself ten days and go out to make a travel with friends, take more photos and write a travelling diary (English version) after coming back, and attach the photos, if the teacher has free time, I hope he (or she) can read it and help to point out what’s my disadvantages in English writing and what need to be improved.

10. I will review the contents of the notebook in the second stage (the useful words and sentences which were written down when reading classic books), and selectively recite some of them, especially about the aspects of scene. I will mark the unfamiliar sentences and review them the next day.

11. I will visit foreign video websites to see some short videos and get to learn about the living habits of foreigners and their speaking manners.

12. I will go online to browse some foreign paper templates, during the four years in university, the paper would take the indispensable part, and I want to contact it ahead of time and see what the general way of the beginning and conclusion is.

Above all are my study plans in the next six months, I don’t know whether there need to be added or cut, hope my dear teachers help to guide me and give some suggestions.
